Is a medical oncologist with a major interest in the management of gynaecological cancer. He is Professor of Cancer Medicine at Imperial College London and honorary consultant medical oncologist at Imperial College NHS Trust; The BUPA Cromwell Hospital, The London Clinic and the London Oncology Clinic (Leaders in Oncology Care). He is a key opinion leader with an internationally leading reputation in the research into and treatment of ovarian cancer.
Academic roles have included 15 years in senior Academic and NHS administrative roles in London and Edinburgh.
He Director of the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre at Imperial College and Lead Gynaecological Oncologist for ImperialCollege NHS Trust. He is President of EUTROC, the European Translational Ovarian Cancer Network and Editor-in-Chief of the journal “Ovarian Cancer”
He holds several other editorial board member roles for cancer research journals and sits on several national and international cancer research committees including Caner Research UK’s CTAAC. He also holds visting professorships at several universities overseas.
